The staff were curtious and helpful.
Over priced for what you got.
It was very convienent to stay at the same hotel where the Echo conference was held.
Yes, we were kept awake till 4:00 in the morning while the people on the floor partied. No security. Very poor. Not happy. You people knew that festivale was on and yet you did nothing to stop the parties. We will diffenitely reconsider staying at your hotel again
The location is very central.
The cost of a room for the quality was very poor. For this type of cost, I would have expected renovated updated rooms. There was a beer cap on the floor of our room still. The quality of the towels were very poor and had a poor odor associated with them. I would never consider staying in this hotel again.
The veiw of the lake
Veiw of the lake is excellent they need to do something about the roof you look at get rid or the moss and put in some flowers or ??? And 2 bucks for extra coffee package in the room, come on at $250.00 a night if want to be the class of Penticton drop the 2 bucks its insulting
I liked the location. It had a lovely restaurant, a casino and a lovely boardwalk along the beach. It was very relaxing, I wished I stayed longer.
the only thing I didn't like is that I came about an hour earlier than the check-in time. I registered but had to come back at 4:00 for key card to room. When I came back I had to stand in another line to wait for the card to room but had already stood in a line to register for the room. I should have been able to take the card at registering time but just couldn't take possession of room until 4:00.
Beautiful view of the lake and mountains
The formal dining area is too small for a fully booked hotel and the alternatives are bars with tapas: not conducive to family dining. The old dining area (before the attached Casino) was a joy to dine in with excellent food and sevice. Sad to see a nice hotel become very expensive to cater to high income bookings and the revenue from the casino --- expecially since there are no other good "Hotels" in town. All of us do not appreciate bedding down in a Motel.
Lovely room- well equipped. The breakfasts were very good and the location on the lake is superb.
The front desk staff was great in answering questions. Our granddaughter liked the fitness center (staying in shape for volleyball team). We liked the location and amenities. The Merganser Restaurant served great food.
The bed was bit too hard with a whimpy mattress for our sleeping comfort. The room maid needs to be reminded NOT to knock on a door at 8:15 in the morning. We didn'tthink we'd need to display the Do Not Disturb sign before 9 a.m.
proximity to lake was great. View was good.
older style facility more geared to adults, although you try to incorporate children. Restaurants are not really child friendly
Visiting Wineries, Gambling and Dining
The entire staff were exceptional. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The restaurants and bar were fantastic. The view over the lake was breathtaking. We were off the "beaten path" so no noisy sirens or traffic. It was a treat to share this with my hubby as I'd stayed here on business a few times before I retired. He loved it too. Thanks to all for making this such a wonderful experience for us. Can't wait to come back!
That there is no free wi-fi .motels down the beach offer it why can`t your hotel, you`d probably increase bookings. Also when you request a room with lake view you should` nt be stuck in a corner with a resturant blocking the view of the lake.
The hooded Merganser restaurant is very nice, the location is great and the gift shop was good. Good gym.
The bar is too noisy and kept us up at night, if the bar is to stay open I believe after 11pm, it should be kept inside with the doors shut. Also we then had to contend with drunks talking too loud whilst walking to their rooms and fumbling about with the doors slamming. The pool is too small and the hot tub jets were not strong enough. If I recommended this hotel I would warn people abouy the bar first and tell them to bring ear-defenders.
the view was great, breakfast was well worth the money and very tasty, great central location, staff excellent, thoroughly recommend staying to anyone considering it, thankyou.
